Saad Masood is Chief of Operations at AxNano, where he oversees administrative, financial, and reporting functions while ensuring seamless execution of federal and commercial contracts. With a strong foundation in environmental engineering, Saad has led multi-million-dollar initiatives, streamlined complex permitting processes, and guided cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions. Before joining AxNano, he held key roles at the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, managed water quality improvement projects for Durham County, and implemented conservation strategies at the NC Department of Agriculture. Saad earned his degree in Environmental Engineering from NC State University and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
